These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by My Money Mentors Pty Ltd (ABN 63 683 148 843), trading as My Money Mentors (“we”, “us”), as a marketing and referral service. We're not a lender, mortgage broker, financial adviser or tax agent. We don't hold an Australian Credit Licence or an Australian Financial Services Licence, we're not a registered tax agent, and we don't provide credit assistance, financial product advice or tax agent services. By using the website, you agree to these terms.

1. General information only

Everything on this website is general information only. It has been prepared without taking into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not credit advice, financial product advice, tax advice, or a recommendation that any product or service is suitable for you. Before acting on any information, consider whether it's appropriate for your circumstances.

2. Our questions are not an offer or advice

Our form asks some basic questions so that, with your consent, the right kind of business can contact you. It doesn't give you a rate, a quote, a recommendation or an offer of credit, and answering it doesn't affect your credit file.

3. Passing on your request, your consent, and what we receive

When you tick the box to accept these Terms and Conditions and submit the form, you agree:

• to us passing your name, contact details and answers to the business we work with that suits your request: a licensed mortgage broker we work with (for investment property loans and debt consolidation), a financial adviser we work with (for financial planning and superannuation) or a registered tax agent we work with (for tax minimisation)
• to that business, or us, contacting you about your request by phone call, text message or email, using the mobile number and email address you gave us, even if your number is on the Do Not Call Register
• to us handling your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy

We keep a record of your acceptance with your request: the words of the box, which version of these terms you accepted, the time, the page and your IP address. You can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time by emailing info@mymoneymentors.com.au, and we'll pass it on.

If your answers show that the businesses we work with aren't the right fit for your situation, we'll tell you straight away and won't ask for your contact details.

The business that contacts you will tell you who they are and give you their licence or registration details. Any help they give you, such as comparing loans, giving financial advice or preparing your tax return, is provided by them, not by us. There's no obligation to go ahead. You can ask us at any time which business we passed your details to.

You don't pay us anything. My Money Mentors may receive a referral fee or other benefit from the businesses we pass requests to. We'll tell you which business received your details if you ask. The businesses we refer you to may charge you for their own services: mortgage brokers are usually paid a commission by the lender, and financial advisers and tax agents usually charge you a fee. They are responsible for telling you about their fees.

Their obligations to you

• a mortgage broker must act in your best interests when giving you credit assistance, and give you their Credit Guide
• a financial adviser giving you personal advice must act in your best interests and give you a Financial Services Guide and a Statement of Advice
• a registered tax agent must meet the Tax Practitioners Board's Code of Professional Conduct

4. Accuracy and links

We take care to keep the content accurate, but laws, products and rules change without notice. We link to other websites, such as government and regulator websites, and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

5. Using this website

You must not misuse this website, attempt to disrupt it, or scrape its content. The My Money Mentors name and website content belong to My Money Mentors Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal use, but not copy or reuse them for any other purpose without our permission.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website, or from the services of a business we refer you to. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.
